Join us in this fun celebration/fundraiser for VPPGA on July 9th, 2023. Start your day with a certified yoga instructor Phyllis L. Pallo. Wake up your mind and body with movement meditation and start your day with a positive vibe.
Get a cup of coffee and delicious bakery to energies your brain and dive into our business class " Prices-formula for success" with Guzal Adekoje, a very successful business owner who came to the United States in 2003 with just $200 in her pocket not knowing a soul in the new country and built her successful grooming business with a fleet of mobile vans and salon. Learn not only about the formula that determines the price but also a strategy that will convince the client to pay the price you need. Guzal's business has the highest price rates in the area and they stay busy!
Reward yourself with a great pool party. Have fun dancing, swimming, playing water games and enjoying gourmet BBQ.
Our professional DJ will make sure to keep us all dancing. The BBQ menue will include Adekoje's favorite signature salmon grilled on cedar planks, the taste you will remember for years. We will finish up with VPPGA icecream cake to celebrate the foundation of Virginia Professional Pet Groomers Association.
In case of inclement weather, we will celebrate indoors with a pool table instead of a pool and a slightly different menu.

A Groomers Guide to the 15 Coat Types
This event explores the "Do's and Don'ts" based on the scientific, genetic, and physical structure of the 15 different coat types. After this seminar, you will be able to set yourself apart as the groomer who is an expert on differentiating coat types.
